Updated Contact Form and Hot Dog Day

Dear Parents,

Attached you will find our Updated Contact Form.  It is very important that the school office has all the correct phone number in case we need to contact you during the school day.  We are asking you to please fill this out completely and send it in with your child by the end of the week so the school office will have all the correct information.  Even if you filled one out in the beginning of the year please take the time to do it again.

Also, there has been a little confusion regarding our upcoming Hot Dog day this Friday. On the menu it states that a complete lunch costs $3.00.  Each student may choose up to 3 hot dogs each and the cost of the lunch will not change.  We have had some students think that it costs $2.00 for each hot dog and that is not the case.

If you have any question please feel free to contact the school office.  Remember that ALL money for the HOT DOG LUNCH MUST BE TURNED IN NO LATER THAN 4:00 ON THURSDAY.

Thank You

Dear Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Grade Parents

Dear Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Grade Parents,

This Friday morning, February 8, our class will be heading out to Twin City Christian School to compete in the Massachusetts Association of Christian School Spelling Bee.  We will leave the school parking lot promptly at 6:30am.  It is very important that we leave on time.  Please plan to drop your children off at the school by 6:15 to ensure your child will not be left behind.

There will be an SSCS staff member present at that time to watch any siblings of students going to the Spelling Bee.  We provide this service so that parents do not have to drop off their children twice that day, if they do not want to do so.

Some parents have asked me for the address of the school and the time your children will be competing.   The address of Twin City Christian School is:

194 Electric Ave
Lunenburg, MA  01462

4th Grade Spelling Bee – 9:30am
5th Grade Spelling Bee – 10:00am
6th Grade Spelling Bee – 10:30am

For lunch, we will be stopping at a fast food restaurant such as McDonalds or Burger King.  Each student is responsible for bringing in their own money to spend for lunch.

If you need to contact us because of an emergency, please call the school office.  Mrs. Jacobs may then direct you to my cell phone number.

We do plan to arrive back at the school by 5:30pm.  If there is a change in this schedule, I will call all parents at the phone number listed on their child’s permission slip.

Please pray for our class as they all have been working hard for this day!  Thank you for all of your help and assistance.  If you have any further questions, please contact me at the school office or e-mail me at principal@nbc-sscs.org.

Because of Grace,

Pastor Thompson
