ALL the students have been working very hard to learn their parts and would love the opportunity to show you what Christmas is really all about.

Payment Reminder

Dear Parents,

On behalf of South Shore Christian School, we would like to thank ALL of our parents who make daily sacrifices for their children to get a quality, Christian education.  We count it a great privilege to have a part in your child’s education.

At this time of the year when schedules seem to be very busy and we seem to run out of time for the things we need to accomplish for the Christmas season; the SSCS office is asking for your help regarding a very important issue.

As you are aware our Christmas vacation for ALL students starts on Friday, December 21, with a 12:30 dismissal.  As a result of this December is a short month and we need ALL parents to make it a point to have your December payment in the school office no later than Friday, December 21.  The reason for this is that the office will be sending out the billing statements for January before our vacation and we do not want to see your balances too high.

We want to thank ALL of you for being so faithful and continuing to make your payments in a timely matter.   If you have any question please do not hesitate to contact the school office.

Thank You

SSCS Office

Christmas Chapel

Dear Parents,

It is with great heaviness of heart that we must inform you that the Christmas program scheduled for next week has been canceled.  For safety reasons, we are no longer using our main auditorium.  Because of this, we simply do not have the space required to host our traditional program as we have in the past.

In place of this program, we would like to invite all of our parents to a special Christmas Chapel on Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at 10:30am.  Our students will be performing “An Acrostic Christmas” written by Marshall Corrick and adapted by the SSCS faculty.  All of the children have been practicing very hard and are looking forward to giving you a good performance with a great message.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the school office at (50 8) 580-1400.

Because of Grace,

Pastor Thompson,
Principal

Important Information Regarding Lunch Time

Dear Parents,

There have been a few problems concerning microwave warm-ups in some of the classrooms and we just wanted to remind you of a few things.

1. Please keep in mind that there is only a certain amount of time set aside for lunch every day.  We are asking that if your child brings a warm-up to school that it only take 1-2 minutes to heat up.  In the amount of time it takes teachers to heat all the students’ lunches, some of them don’t have enough time to eat (including the teachers themselves).

2. If at all possible please send a lunch with your child that doesn’t require warming up at all.  This will help the teacher out tremendously as well as allow your child the allotted time to eat their lunch.

We do appreciate your help and cooperation regarding this matter.  If you have any questions please feel free to call the school office.

Thank You
