It’s hard to believe that we only have three weeks left of our Summer Program here at South Shore Christian School. We have really enjoyed working with your children so far this summer.
Our theme for this week is “Beach Week.” We are asking all students to bring in their favorite beach toy to be shared with the others during play time. Our outing will be on Friday, August 3rd. We will be walking across the street to the park - weather permitting.
Remember that ALL Summer Program activities will end on August 17th as we will be getting our building ready for the upcoming school year.

It’s hard to believe that we are heading into the half-way point of this year’s Summer Program already.
Next week we will be having a very important theme week. We have designated July 16-20 as “Fire Safety Week” During this week the children will be learning the importance of what they would need to do in case of a fire whether at home or at school.
The children will be walking across the street on Friday, July 20th to the fire station for their weekly outing. We will be leaving the school around 10:00 am and will be back in time for their regular lunch. If you have already filled out a permission slip then you will NOT need to fill another one out. If you have not yet completed one then please see any of the teachers and they will make sure you have one.

Registration here at South Shore Christian School is on a first come, first serve basis. Due to space restraints, we must place a cap on the number of students we allow in each classroom. Little by little, these classes are filling up. If you have not re-enrolled your child for the 2007-2007 school year, now is the time to do it! If you know of any other parents interested in our school, let them know to contact us as soon as possible to ensure their child a place here next year. Space is still available, but limited.
